Pierre Garcon: Doing good and looking good doing it.

Pierre Garcon of the Indianapolis Colts took an afternoon out of his busy schedule to do a photo shoot in his custom suits from Astor & Black. We we were happy to discover that Pierre not only looks great in our clothing, but is truly a great guy.  Check out the photos and highlights from our conversation, below.

Pierre truly believes that if you look good, you feel good. His advice for young athletes: “The way you present yourself does make a difference so always wear something presentable, something that shows some kind of professionalism.”

You might not know it by looking at him, but the man loves food. Ask his friends, and they’ll tell you he’s always eating something. As for his favorite food? Steak and potatoes. Cheesecake for dessert.

During the off season, when Pierre has a free night, he rounds up friends from high school for a few games of bowling. As seen on his facebook page, he bowls with the team too.

If Pierre could live anywhere in the world, he would choose Haiti, a place that holds a special place in this athlete’s heart. About his work there and the Helping Hands Foundation, he says,

“My staff and I have done so many things, but Haiti is in such desperate need that those things don’t feel like much. Our last trip we fed thousands, gave out school supplies, provided pots and rice to mothers. We give out a lot of stuff that people here in America take for granted. We have also rebuilt two schools, one in Leogane and one in Port-Au-Prince. I really want the kids out there to have the resources that we have here in the US so we also built a computer lab.”
