As we roll into Thanksgiving and the holiday season there’s a lot of excitement stirring.Time spent with family, awesome laughs, and what better than great homemade food cooked by grandmas and mothers? It’s awesome! Yet, Thanksgiving tends to be one those holidays when we all tend to over indulge.
Now, I’m not saying that enjoying mom’s stuffing several times over and over again is wrong, however, we must all think of the aftermath.
Pace yourself this weekend–you can justify all the food you’re eating by staying active. Come Monday, when you have that 8am meeting with your associates, you don’t want to look and feel extremely uncomfortable because your suit is fitting extra tight.
A bit of advice on my part is to try taking a leisurely walk after eating with some family members. Or try to somewhat maintain your daily workout schedule. At least if you knock it out in the morning and work hard you can not feel so guilty pigging out all day.
Take it from me, feeling like you’ve overgrown your tailored suit is not only a bad look, it’s a horrible feeling. Keep active and exercise a bit of restraint this weekend, but above all, enjoy your holiday and time spent with your love ones!
